DVSA release report on motorcycle training consultation held earlier this year

Tuesday, December 19, 2017

Last year, between 30 December 2016 and the 17 February 2017, the DVSA held a consultation on proposals to improve the way that motorcycle training works in Great Britain.

After receiving over 2,200 responses to the consultation, the DVSA have reported that the proposals were strongly supported by the motorcycle industry. The government has decided to take most of these forward as soon as its legislative programme allows, while some proposals will need further consultation before they can progress.

The full report and results of the consultation on motorcycle training have now been published, and can be found here.

In his latest ‘Despatch’ blog entry, Mark Winn tackles each proposal, outlining the level of support from consultation respondents and explains the next steps in achieving these proposals.
