DVSA have released a blog, which tackles some of the key developments in the Part 3 process – and some of the challenges it will bring to trainers.
The latest blog post gives advice to trainers making sure they’re prepared for the changes.
Mark Magee, DVSA Registrar, has written a series of blog posts that cover the improvements that have been made to the ADI part 3 test, addressing concerns ADIs have expressed, and delivering industry updates.
In the latest article, Magee mentions the impact the Part 3 changes will have on training, making sure that the training you receive, and the training you offer, is tailored to the specific learning need of the individual.
The Driving Instructors Association (DIA) continues to have a dialogue with DVSA, and fellow NASP colleagues, on the development and implementation of the changes and further meetings will take place in the next few months.
ORDIT trainers, and trainers who have recently been through the qualification process, will also be surveyed again and two ORDIT workshops will be held on the subject.
The DIA recently conducted a webinar on the Part 3 updates, news and highlighted the changes to the Part 3, which is available for all DIA members here.
DVSA Driver Training Policy Manager, John Sheridan, was one of the speakers for the webinar, giving insight from the DVSA, which proved to be vital information regarding the subject.
