Steve has over 20 years’ experience of driver and instructor-training and public speaking he started his teaching career training novice motorcyclists, albeit voluntarily, in a school playground on Saturday mornings, in Bromley, Kent.
Tim worked in the UK/US as a research scientist, then with the Church of England in heritage buildings, legals and writing databases. He designs websites and runs TRC11 School of Driving in south Birmingham.
Helena hails from Nottingham and has been ADI qualified since May 2009. She started the Road Ahead Driving School in June 2009 and was fleet qualified in October 2013. She is an IAM national observer, Rospa Gold and tutor as well as DIA DipDE and DIA regional trainer and also trains under-17s for StartinYoung.

Keith has been a partner in the chartered accountancy profession for over 20 years. He is responsible for a wide range of owner managed businesses, including driving instructors and many self-employed individuals running their own businesses, advising them on tax and business matters as well as personal financial planning. He currently heads up the DIA Tax Service for members.
Carly is the chief executive and head of membership services at the DIA. Carly has over 16 years experience in senior business development roles across a range of industries including government agencies, financial services, medical and education.
Edmund is a British public relations professional, best known for media appearances on the subject of motorists and transport policy, in his roles as director of the RAC Foundation and president of The Automobile Association.
Helen originally worked in medical research until she became disabled in 1997. Helen then trained as a broadcast journalist with Anglia news and subsequently worked as a news reporter until 2007.
She now work as a disability rights campaigner for the disabled motorists' charity Disabled Motoring UK.
Clara is current general manager at CA Cars, The Driving Instructor Specialist. She has over 13 years’ experience in supplying vehicles to driving instructors and has built up a wealth of knowledge of both the driving instructor industry and different vehicle ranges. She works closely with the DIA for their vehicle reviews and other related motoring articles.
Sandra is currently studying for a PhD at Loughborough University in Driver Behaviour. She is also a working ADI in both the Car and Fleet markets.
