At adiNEWS, we have been long-term advocates of associations, both national and local, and we are now offering you FREE membership!
The importance of such membership should not be underestimated:
- It can enable you to have a stronger voice when attempting to influence policies affecting your industry, career and business;
- If you are in need of help and support due to unforeseen circumstances, or you need technical or expert help with issues, the association can act like a big family and provide you with the help you need;
- In an ever changing and competitive world, you need to be able to grow and develop your own skills and expertise to ensure you are delivering the best instruction you can to your customers, whilst also ensuring you have the skills to get the most out of your business. That's why associations can provide advice and training;
- And if you feel you have been unfairly or unjustly treated, whether by the state or your customers, there is help at hand for you to equitably represent your side of a story and work to ensure that justice prevails.
The Times They Are A Changing
These are tumultuous times indeed, where our industry in many ways mirrors what is going on in the wider world. Economic upheaval affects us all, and it can be felt acutely by those who are self-employed, which means all ADIs, whether a franchisee or a sole trader. Cuts in state funding don't just lead to cuts in the amount of cash available in everybody's pockets, they can also influence the way our industry is governed, maintained and regulated. Therefore it seems more appropriate than ever to become part of an organisation that can make your voice louder to ensure your views are heard and represented, and that any changes are in everybody's best interests. What's more, if decisions don't exactly go your way, you'll have plenty of help to mitigate any of the negative consequences.
So it is with great satisfaction and excitement, that we are pleased to announce a new partnership with the ADINJC. They are no ordinary industry association, they are the industry association.
The Approved Driving Instructors National Joint Council (ADINJC) offers a united voice for all driving instructors in the UK and is now the fastest growing national driving instructor association, with over 6,500 members.
It was born in the early 1970s to act as a central hub or umbrella body for the driver training industry, providing support, advice and representation to fellow ADIs and all other organisations, including local and national associations. It is run by working ADIs on a voluntary basis – this is a not for profit organisation – and is often known as 'The Association of Associations'. So what better way for us to encourage you to become more involved in your industry, support associations, and see everyone benefit?
Paying a full annual subscription for adiNEWS* will now provide you with the opportunity to become a fully fledged member of the ADINJC. But why wait for your renewal reminder? You could renew early, topping up your subscription (any months remaining will be added to the 12 months), and gaining from this great opportunity immediately! This is an unbelievable offer that cannot be equalled anywhere in this industry, and will insure you against many of the liabilities that you face as a self-employed driving instructor, ensuring that you can gain greater confidence in your work, your business and your career.
Our industry is principally about driving forward safely, securely and responsibly. The ADINJC was formed during a previous period of great change in our industry, and instigated by many significant, highly qualified and respected members of our profession. It is widely regarded as the most proactive and representative organisation in our industry, not least because most, if not all, associations, whether local or national, are also represented within the ADINJC fold. It's an organisation that is focused on driving our industry forward safely, securely and responsibly.
